After understanding the brief, I start researching to develop a thorough understanding of the context, stakeholders, target users, their needs & problems.
Define
I develop insights from my research and use it along with the brief to create a problem statement - getting this right is like winning 50% of the battle.
Ideate
In this stage I use brainstorm to come up with as many ideas as possible, organising my research in advance greatly helps in this stage.
Create → Test
An amalgamation of create and test, in this stage I test rapid prototypes, to validate ideas and reiterate on ideas before using too many resources.

*while being non-linear, the design process is also not a cyclic step-by-step guide. Especially as we reiterate, it becomes a more interconnected framework that I like to imagine as a loop.
